Safety Systems and Driver Assistance 

Safety is a primary focus of the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica design. The vehicle includes several standard driver assistance systems. These systems use sensors and cameras to monitor the area around the car. 

• Adaptive Cruise Control: This system maintains a set distance from the car in front by automatically adjusting the vehicle speed. 

• Lane-Keeping Assist: This feature monitors lane markings and provides steering input to help keep the vehicle within its lane. 

• Blind-Spot Monitoring: Sensors detect other vehicles located in the driver’s blind spots and provide a visual or audible signal. 

• Rear Cross-Path Detection: This system assists the driver when backing out of parking spaces by detecting vehicles approaching from the side. 

These features are engineered to assist the driver in different traffic conditions in Big Stone Gap and surrounding areas. 

Interior Technology and Connectivity 

The interior of the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica contains several digital interfaces for communication and media. The primary interface is a 10.1-inch touchscreen display located in the center of the dashboard. This system supports integration with mobile devices through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

For rear-seat occupants, the Amazon Fire TV system is an available option. This allows passengers to view digital content during travel. The cabin also includes multiple USB ports for charging electronic devices. Wireless charging is another available feature that allows compatible devices to charge without the use of cables. 

Seating and Cargo Configurations 

The Pacifica features a specific seating design known as the Stow ’n Go system. This system allows the second and third rows of seats to be folded into compartments located under the floor. When the seats are stored, the vehicle provides a flat surface for hauling cargo. 

There are 243 different ways to configure the seating inside the vehicle. This flexibility is intended to accommodate different types of cargo, such as groceries or building materials. The vehicle is offered in three primary trim levels: 

• Select: This trim comes with 17-inch wheels. 

• Limited: This trim includes 18-inch wheels. 

• Pinnacle: This trim features 20-inch polished wheels and quilted Nappa leather seating surfaces. 

Mechanical Specifications and Performance 

The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. This engine produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The power is managed by an automatic transmission designed to select the appropriate gear for the current driving speed. 

The vehicle is available with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This system distributes power to all four wheels to improve traction on slippery or uneven road surfaces. Additionally, the Pacifica has a maximum towing capacity of 3,600 lbs when properly equipped. This allows the vehicle to pull small trailers or other equipment.
