Engine and Performance Specifications

The 2026 Charger features several engine options. The gas-powered version uses a 3.0-liter Twin-Turbo SIXPACK engine. This engine comes in two different levels of power. The High Output version produces 550 horsepower. The Standard Output version produces 420 horsepower. These engines use turbochargers to increase the amount of air entering the engine, which helps create more power from a smaller size.

The electric versions are called the Daytona trims. The Daytona Scat Pack is the most powerful electric option. It produces 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. According to manufacturer testing, it can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds. The Daytona R/T is another electric option. It produces 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque.

All 2026 Charger models come with all-wheel drive as a standard feature. This system sends power to all four wheels to help with traction. However, the car includes a mechanical setting that allows the driver to switch to rear-wheel drive. This is intended for specific driving tasks like burnouts.

Battery and Range Information

The electric Daytona models use a 100.5 kWh battery. The distance the car can travel on a single charge depends on the specific trim level. The R/T model has a maximum estimated range of 317 miles. The Scat Pack model has a shorter estimated range of 260 miles due to its higher power consumption. These figures may change based on driving habits and road conditions.

Exterior and Interior Design

The exterior of the 2026 Charger includes several functional design elements. The Scat Pack model uses 20-inch wheels. The front tires are size 305/35R20 and the rear tires are size 325/35R20. This wide tire setup is meant to increase the amount of rubber touching the road.

The Daytona models include a feature called the R-Wing. This is a hole in the front hood that allows air to pass through, which improves the aerodynamics of the car. The gas-powered SIXPACK models have a different hood and dual exhaust pipes at the back of the vehicle.

Inside the car, the dashboard features a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the Uconnect system. There is also an available 16-inch digital screen behind the steering wheel that shows the speed and other data. The interior lighting system allows users to choose from 64 different colors. The steering wheel is flat on the top and bottom and includes a heating function.

Technology and Safety Features

The 2026 Charger includes standard software for smartphone integration. This includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These systems allow the driver to see phone apps on the car screen. The vehicle also has several driver-assistance systems. These are safety tools designed to help the driver avoid accidents.

The car has a Launch Control feature. This is a computer program that helps the car accelerate from a stop as quickly as possible without the tires slipping too much. Drivers can change how the car feels by using one-touch drive modes.

Available Packages and Customization

There are several ways to change the appearance and mechanical parts of the Charger. The Blacktop Package adds wheels in a color called Black Noise. The Track Pack includes a Dual-Valve Adaptive Damping System, which changes how the car handles bumps in the road. Available exterior paint colors include Destroyer Gray and a blue color called Bludicrous.
